NWWA crest was
designed by a team of Navy Wives in 1992.The crest depicts a wheel. At the hub
of wheel is an anchor. Four women are reaching out to each other and surround
the anchor. These four women represent the four NWWA regions i.e., Northern, Southern,
Eastern and Western.
The anchor depicts the Navy and NWWA provides
the emotional support to the families to maintain harmony within the naval
community. The crest signifies the spirit of togetherness and harmony that our association
seeks to promote and also to empower women in the Naval family to realize their
true potential and through that make them self reliant.
